Does it continue to rev high, or does it eventially idle down?

It pobably just needs to be idled down. Let it warm up and let it idle in neutral and turn the dial on the left of the bike (near the fuel shut-off) where the throttle lines connect to that triangle-shaped piece. Turn that dial until the idle is where you want it.

ok im half retarded i guess. i was trying to adjust the throttle screw before the engine was up to running temperature. runs perfect now lol. the torque this raptor has compared to my 400ex is insane even for it being stock. cant wait to put some goodies on it.
