Default Good Price for a '05 SP 700????

2005 Sportsman 700, blue, with 2500 Warn winch. Original owner, garage kpet with ONLY 73 miles and 20 hours. Looks like it has never been off the show room floor. One dealer in my area says to jump on it at that price, it is around a $8000 machine with tax and winch. The other says it only retails for $4995, so that is way too high? Anyone else care to comment. Thanks the the help.

I got my 05 700 twin for about $6400 with tax and everything (stock unit, no winch). What is he asking for it? Good machine once you get the bugs out....

Sorry, I forgot that part. He is asking $5500 for it. What "bugs" do you mean? Thanks.

Also, just got a call from the owner, it is NOT fuel injected. I thought all of the 700s were after '04, but I guess not.

I have had a few small issues such as the carb boot going to the engine ripping, water pump seal, Plastic vibrations, ECM recall, rear foot brake not working. Again, not big issues, just dont think it should happen withing 100hrs of very easy use. My other twin 600 had issues like my 700 (carb boot, valve cover warped, water pump hose leaking, vibrations) My next machine will be a 500 single, those that i have had havee been realy great machines...not trying to turn you away from this one though. they are very powerfull smooth running machines!!!
