Benn looking at a left over 06. How good is this machine. Does it compare to the big boys such as Honda's 450R and Kawasaki's 450?

We have an 03, an 04 TLD, and an 05. I had bought a 04 450r too. It was way fun. But in my opinion, the preds gave us more bang for the buck. It was easier to find great deals on them. I have personally purchased and ridden the three preds, a 2003 blaster (mine), a 2003 400ex (mine), 2004 250 ex (son #1), 1991 frankenblaster (son's) the 2004 450r, plus 7 minis for all the kids. I'm not brand loyal - I want the best quad for my limited funds.

So, in comparison, in my opinion, the 450r is #1, the pred #2, and the kawi 450 #3 (a friend has one and it has some issues!) What is the best deal for YOU?

If you get the pred, ALWAYS use the clutch - it is not forgiving the way the hondas are with respect to power shifting. And, keep in mind, if you want to be the fastest.....well someone else will always be a little faster. All it takes is money..........

I agree with V rod. None of those will beat the preddy at top speed. I am on my second preddy and think they are definitely the best bang for the buck out there. Better axles, rims/tires, steel braided brake lines, etc. and all for less money. But, the 450R is a great quad as well, it is proven.
