Here are the Honda ignition tests .. Don't do the CDI test it isn't a reliable test unless you have a Sanwa sp10d or sp15d tester .. Sounds like someone wired the neutral to ground Here is the neutral test ..

It"s alive, finally after for ever the trx is fixed .I found a bad connector on the stator to reg. wires I think there was more than one problem along and along bettween the choke spark plug and a wire. somehow I got it started, running crappy tho, I had rebuilt the carb before the bike completly stopped running , I took it off the choke was stuck open closed it put the carb back in started and ran great I was beside myself.S tarted to put everything back together got a good way along tryed to start it again ,no go ,i say what the f is going on ,no spark again, so I finally went out and bought a spark tester instead of trying to hold the plug against the head took the air box and stuff back off started wiggelingwires and connectors that I might have moved putting it back together while trying to start it and that is how I found the baaaaaaddd wire .thanks for everyones input Man I've learned alot from this adventure. I could go on but Iguess I won't
