just thought i'ld post fuel milage on our last trip of 48 miles.
800=16.4 mpg, 400=23.3 mpg the 800 has the 27" tires while the 400 has 26" and both was going between 20 to 30 mph. not too bad considering the 800 has 243 miles and the 400 has 84 miles, and there not broke in yet.

 

Thats comparable with mine on the 400HO when new. Its now getting about 25 mp US gal with 800 mi.

 

so the 10% ethenol fuel doesnt seem to be causing mpg to suffer at all?

 

Personally, If I have a choice, I avoid the use of ethanol fuels.

 

Those are some good numbers Stendori. Wife still enjoying the ATV?

 

yes sheepdog she likes it way more then the 450(too heavy for her). rides stiffer and the shorter wheel base gives her a litle more rough ride. we dont have any ethnol fuel up here(thank god), and this is 87 octang.
