I have a new 2008 x2 700. 11 miles on it. I noticed when I turn the key on the check engine light plus all the other cluster lights come on P,R,N,H,L, battery ect.... but they go off. the check engine light only goes off when I turn the key to start the engine. is this normal

 

I have not realy paid that much attention to it. I do know that all cars do this.

 

yes it is normal, nothing to worry about
