i was wondering if there are longer belts available for polaris clutches. apparently the clutches need to be 10 inches apart center to center but im doin a custom application and need more like 15 inches center to center to clear the engine im using where can i find longer belts?

 

Maybe try one of the belt manufacturers Dayco or Gates pages. Other thing might be to try like a farm implement or auto parts store.

 

i found a site called mfgsupply might have found one that will work...one question is how do i know where the right amount of slack is at idle for the belts. guess i can make my motor or tranny mounts adjustable by a few inches?

 

it depends on if it has an ebs clutch or not which has no slack. just a guess if its a non ebs i wouldnt have more then 1 1/4belt deflection.
