Default my raptor

i bought a 2007 yamaha raptor i've had it almost a year now. but the other day i went to go ride it an it wouldn't start unless i gave it some throttle but it won't idle an it spits an spouters an blows a lillte black smoke. so i drained all the gas out an changed spark plug an it still does the same thing but you can ride it. you can open wide open in ever gear an it fly's but when you stop, it shuts off, an the bottom of the spark plug is black, i'm stumped, don't know what to do

ok 1st is this a700 or a 350? sounds to me like ur idle just needs to be raised. u can do this on the cable at the thumb throttle, or th bottom of the carb if its a 350 im not sure wear on the 700 as its fuel injected.

It's easy on a 350. There is a screw on the left side that you turn with your hands and this will increase your idle.
