Default tranny removal on 96 TB 250

Does anyone know what all I have to take off in order to pull out tranny? I am new to this and have never pulled one out before, and dont want to take off more than I need to. Also do I need to pay special attention to anything during removal? Are there any tricks of the trade, or shortcuts. Thanks

Must have front clutch removal tool (good one about 30-35 bucks) or have dealer pull. THEN need a MANUAL. Step by step by using manual, but not that bad if have common set of tools and a little mechanical knowledge. Good luck

Nothing tricky to it, just pay close attention to all of the parts you take off. Instead of paying 30-35 bucks for a clutch puller, just go to hardware store and buy a 3/4 inch FINE thread bolt about 4-5 inches long. Place a deep-well socket into the clutch bolt opening and run the bolt in. It works like a charm for about $1.00.
