Has anyone rebuilt their 01 Raptor carbs? I purchased a rebuild kit and everything was going fine until I was finishing up the secondary carb (Right side).

I noticed the needle valve that goes into the black rubber diaphragm does not have a small spring on the plastic needle retainer that is inside the diaphragm.

The left side does but the right side does not. Is it supossed to be this way???????

The kit does not supply this spring.

to answer your question i say yes. i looked in my manual and there is a spring for each.

 

Thanks for the info. I'll order the spring tomorrow. I guess that's what happens when your buyer number 3 of a bike. You get to feel the pain of other "experts" lack of knowledge.
