Dealer show is usually early to mid September...don't know an exact date. That is when they announce the new models. If you go to their web site, they usually list the unchanged models before the dealer show. Only thing listed so far, is the smallest CRF dirt bikes.

Autos are for beginner adults and little girls...plain and simple!

IRS/SRA each have their pros and cons. As for putting IRS on a Rancher, the price one would pay would be the extra weight, when it is already to heavy.

Autos for little girls and beginners?

I hate when people say that..

What do you think of snomobiles? Are they for little girls?

My scrambler is NOT for little girls nor is it for beginners..

When i a beginner or someone not used to the auto on that bike they stand it straight up and wipe out big time

Bike just falls back on its wheels and waits,
like a pissed off bucking bronco

and plus, you got an ES... now thats LITTLE GIRL **** right there

I do hear you tho...

I always wanted a big bore 4x4 ute with a foot shifter,

I love the suzuki quadrunner 500..

but the thing is, you really cant buy big utes without autos these days,

thats about all they make.

and you def cant get the monster utes without an auto

Well then, mission accomplished!

There was a great editorial in one of the magazines many years ago, and it was about the "Dumbing Down of the Sport". In the early days, everybody riding a 3-wheeler or quad at least had previous dirt bike experience, so everybody could shift a manual just fine. Then, the manufacturers learned that if they threw an automatic on, they could sell quads to any mindless idiot and make lots of money doing it!

You can look up any of my posts on the ES, and you will discover that I am probably its greatest critic!

So being able to lift your foot up and down makes you a better and safer rider than a "girl or beginner" that may choose not to........ very interesting i must say.

Just take his comments in stride. Laugh it off, its funny in someways. Some just like to hold on to the old days. I understand what recon means about shifting, I grew up like that and still regard those days as the greatest.

Getting older I decided to try the ES just to see what it was like. They are alot better then the earlier models and if you prepare them they are almost flawless.

You cant force someone to like the idea of shifting its just not going to happen. My wife would not ride anymore if she still had to shift.

Recon, Quick question for giggles. Do you have a manual transmission in your truck?
