Ran out of gas yesterday. Poured more back in got about a quater mile and now i'm not getting any fuel. I drained the carb out but i'm still not getting anything. Any ideas?

 

Maybe the carb/jets are all gummed up. Or a hose is clogged. I don't know much about carbs, but I'm willing to bet its one of the two.

 

When you ran the bowl dry of fuel it sucked all the junk up into the main jet. This isnt a luckey gues its a fairley comon thing. You can easily fix it yourself.

 

well i turned the fuel off, drained the carb and sprayed starting fluid into the fuel intake for the carb and she started right up and ran for a few mins then died out again. I'm thinking it may be the gas I put in there. That was my last resort before opening up my carb which was the last thing i wanted to do. I put regular pump gas into it after i ran it out of gas because that is all I had. But I didn't get so much at a fart out of the pump gas and my plug wasn't even wet when. So i'm guessing it's the gas. If not time to blast out the jets.

 

If you arent geting any fuel its doesnt have anything to do with your gas. Ill about bet money its the main jet. Dont wory about tearing into the carb its easy.

 

yeah that makes sense. I'll give it a shot in the morning. I'm replacing the steering stem so I haven't had time to test it out with the new gas.
