Grizzly 700 eps or Polaris 800 efi deluxe
#1
Hello all, I am new here as you can tell by my uncertainty, I'm in the market for a new atv, I currently ride a stock Arctic Cat 650 v-2, I bought it in 04, I'd like to trade up a little bigger and I've narrowed it down to these two rides, after all my research, these are the two the most pick as top rated in their class: The grizzly 700 with eps, or the polaris 800 efi deluxe, I have an opportunity to get both at around the same price, about 6985 wih a winch, on the grizz, and about 6999 on the polaris, granted the grizz is an 08 and the polaris is an 07 but both new. I realize polaris is coming out with an eps model on their 800 and 500 class, but i checked and msrp on those bikes is way out of my range. I have rode both and I do like the gizz better, but I like the looks and the power of the polaris, and the fact that it is made in the USA! I wanted to know from those more experienced than I, i have read all the weight, specs, and options and have taken those into consideration but I am still torn, and advice on problems, quality and first hand performance exp would be helpful, thanks in advance.

What type of riding do you do?. Mudding, rock crawling, trails, sand, ???.
Most who have ridden both say that the popo is great up to 40 mph, then the handling goes away due to the strut front end. So if you ride fast, get the grizz. The grizz weighs less than the popo, if your ride style requires a light machine, get the grizz. If you do rocks, get the grizz, the eps will save your shoulders.
Get the Grizzly.
