After I installed my exhaust i noticed there was a ticking in the engine that would get louder with more throttle. Over time the ticking seems to have gotten louder so im a little concerned. I re-used the stock gasket and i believe im running a 148 or 150 main dyno with needle and lid off ect. Any suggestions as to what this may be? Possibly valves or timing chain??

 

its a 03 Z ,have you ever had the valves adjusted ?

 

That's what I was thinking.

 

I brought it to the mech the other day and he also said it was the valves. I have never had them adjusted so i guess its time.
