Default Melted plastic update

Well i picked up my new rear cab and right side panel. Everything was replaced under warrenty. I installed the aftermarket heat shiled kit from Breese Lawn and Garden. I also insulated the underside of the plastic with some Flame resistant, kevlar fire blanket fabric, the kind used for welding. I glued it down with high temp black rtv and put multiple layers of aluminum foil tape over it. I'm going for a ride on Sat and will report back on the heat issue. Also i bult an elevated rack to strap my Rear bag to so i don't go insaine again trying to strap it down to the factory rack. It is a rear rack from a Honda Rancher that i used sections of a front old Sportsman rack that bolts to the rear and the fron to rack bolts. It seams like it's gona work pretty good. I put photos of everything on my sig.

Well after a little ride yeasterday the heat mods to the rear cab seamed to really work. The cab under my thigh stayed allot cooler than in the past. The sidepannel however got heally hot. I'm gona have to get some more fire blanket and cover it too.

I wonder if one of the aftermarket exhaust is routed better since POO don't really think it is that big of a thing even though we their customers complain about it. Still with its minor drawbacks prefer my poo to any thing else I have tried.

I really don't think that there is any better routing than where it is now. Besides no one makes a full exhaust for a polaris!!..
