Default Trailblazer 250 Carb Problem

Just bought a 2000 Trailblazer for my son. After about 1 hour of riding we stopped for a break. It would not start back up. I then noticed gas coming out of one of the clear tubes connected to carb. I guess they are the vent tubes.
Anyway I pulled the top of carb open and it was completely filled with gas.

PLEASE HELP. Could the vent tubes being connected wrong cause this?? If so, what is proper connection/route for them....

Then the one off of left hand side has the check valve?????

Sounds more like the float is stuck on the carb.

I'll take a look at my manual for the 04, the routing should be the same for the tubes.

Well, the manual isn't clear on the routing.

I can email you the page out of the manual if you like. Just PM me an email address.

Of course when I try to picture ours in my mind, it's about as clear as the manual.

Hopefully someone might have picture or if they're at home can take a quick look at it.

Chances are if the quad was running it's not the vent hose hook up. It's most likely dirt in the needle and seat or a stuck float.
