Default Yamati XTM90 Loud Exhaust sound in front??

Hello All,

I just picked up this quad from a friend. It was almost never used. My son was riding it and heard something "pop" and it suddenly became very loud. There is a plastic housing on the front right (if you are sitting on it). I can see a white fan inside the housing. It appears to be where the loud engine/exhaust sound is coming from. Any ideas? Is this common?

Thank you in advance,

Gary

I am very unfamiliar with these quads, a very common problelm is he exhaust pipe breaks right where it bolts on to the motor. just mark it so you can line it up and get it welded. Some of the other problems that I have heard of is the mountingbolts acutally breaking off and stripping. Check your pipe right where it bolts onto the motor and I bet you find something.

Sorry I know this is old but I just purchased the same thing and have the same issue... Did you find any solution to the loud exhaust in the front,
