Default 2003 Rincon or 2002 Prarie

I have the choice of the rincon for 3300, or the prarie 650 for 3200. Both seem to run fine and have no problems, which would you guys recommend?

The Rincon is more of a cruiser than it is a hard a$$ utility quad. No ultra low gears, and no engine braking below 8 mph. Even Honda calls it an "SUV" and a "recreational" quad, so think about wheter that fits your needs before you buy. Would you ever go rock crawling in an SUV????

My buddy has the Prarie, and it has way to much sloppy body roll in off-camber situations, for my taste.

I actually owned both of those ATVs, ... both a 2002 Prairie 650 in 2002, and a 2003 Rincon in 2003. Reconranger is right about the front struts being too soft on the front of the Prairie. The front end dives under hard braking, and the outside front tire tends to tuck under on downhill offcamber turns. That problem can be fixed with a dirt cheap change in front springs. The engine in the Prairie is about a thousand times better than the engine in the Rincon though. Absolutely no comparison, the Prairie blows away the Honda in power, smoothness, responsiveness, engine braking, sound quality, and in the effectiveness of the transmission.

No doubt in my mind what so ever between those two ATVs. If those were my two choices I would definitely choose the Prairie.

what if i threw in a 2002 grizzly camo with 1127 miles on it for 3500. Saw the honda last night and it was beat up pretty bad, but saw this grizzly on the way and it looks pretty decent, going to see the kawasaki tonight and i am still leaning toward it.

2002 Grizzlys were good as well. That is really low miles for a 2002. Our 2007 Grizzly that we bought after the 2008 Grizzlys had came out has already got 1800 miles on it, with no problems what so ever.
