this has happened before and i recall opening the side case ...pulling the clutch plates, and changing some switch clear in there...I know this is 12 years old....but i am the original owner and always changed the oil regularly ( castrol 20 50 ) this thing has a lot of good life in it but it wont turn over unless you are in nuetral and jiggle the shifter like a weirdo for 2 minutes.....has any one else had this issue ??
