Anybody have an idea how much would be involved from a $ standpoint in upgrading an 2006 800 to an 800R? And do you think the power increase would be worth it?

The power increase is mostly(if not all) in the mid/top range of the powerband. The lowend actually feels softer, by initial owners reports. Mostly for smoother lowend, more managable. The 08's had the efi remapped to increase fuel mileage and allow a slightly more managable lowend hit, might be something you can ask your dealer about as well.

Not sure on cost, but something to think about...
