Default Need Help ASAP...

I bought a Stainless Steel bolt kit off some dude on Ebay. It comes with almost every bolt you need and after you powdercoat the bike it sure makes that finishing touch. However the kit is more for a pre-04 DS650. It does not have the proper bolt length for the lower shock mount. Anyone have the exact size so I can order it to get the rear finally done on this forever project?

I posted a two pics on my gallery.. finally it's comeing together. Motor work sometime next month hopefully.

Doesnt the top shock mount bolt measure that? When I put the bolt thru I can't feel the threaded end on the nut side. On the Microfiche on a 04 Swing arm shows a much longer bolt. In case your wondering I am putting an 04 Swing Arm on a 2000 Frame DS650. Lighter and maybe make the front end come up a tad easier.

one thing to note is the shock bolt is grade 8 and stainless is the softest bolts made it is even weaker then mild steel and the shock bolts are stressed to the max.

Good point AZ.... I will order one from the dealer then. A bit pricey, and I hate rust.. but point taken. It's hidden anyway. Thanks so much for your help. Good to see an ol DS650 guy around.
