Default Tranny fluid change for 98 and 01 SP 500?

I've been reading posts here about changing tranny fluids.

I've read my owners manual and there doesn't appear to be any discussion on changing fluids for the 500 SP models, just Explorers.

I asked my dealer and he said you don't change tranny fluid on these, just add if necessary.

I've looked under the machines and I don't see any obvious place to drain the fluid.

Transmission drain plug is a small 7/16" head plug at bottom towards back of tranny. AGL fluid about 20 ounces each. ALL transmissions have drain plugs.

Thanks for the info, I'll go look again.

I'm assuming on the 500s that there is no separate rear differential fluid to change since it's all part of the tranny?

I'm assuming the new fluid is added through the dip stick hole?
