new yfz450r for 2009 what do you think
#1
I just picked up a dirtwheels mag and in it, it says there will be a aluminum framed fuel injected yfz 450 for 2009 and it has pictures it also is supposed to have even better shocks and looks to be close to 50 inches wide. it also has different plastic with gripper material on the side and a new seat configuration. I was kinda surprised not to see anything on here about it. I am not sure if this is old news or that many people just don't care about it.

Yea, I saw it in DW also... looks sick. Yamaha continues to be the leader in the ATV world with upgrades like this. Hope I get a chance to ride a new one!

There's been several topics on this one already.....awesome machine!!! Wait till you see it in person!! The side panels you are talking about aren't "gripper" panels...more like softer, more flexible plastic panels to help save your knees when you turn (if you are like me, I get bruises on my knees every time I hit the track!)....they are also replaceable, so when they get scuffed up, you can just replace them.
There are tons of things about this quad I really like!!! Can't wait to get one!!
