Just started modding my sons TRX90... any thoughts.

Well I got my son a 2003 honda trx 90 for $400.. Bike is perfect except for handlebars being bent.. This is his first real ATV so I am workingon a budget to make it fun for him before we step him up to racing.
Since the handle bars were bent I went and got some bars from the local dealer.. They were too wide so I narrowed them by about 3 inches. Used 2 clutch levers for the brakes. Still have to find a way mount the run start switch. It totally changed the way it looks as well as improving the fit for my son.
My son gets on it now and the bars are right where they need to to be. Its easier for him to turn and handle the bike.. I will get some pics up..
I think the next upgrade is goona be tires and wheels... Any suggestions or anyone have anything used.
Exhaust and nerf bars are on the list as well as some sort of suspension.

Find some used 400ex rear hubs, they slide right on, sit wider than stock, so you get a wider rear end without spacers, and it makes it easier to get rims and tires for the back, with the standard bolt pattern.

I was told they were 450r rear hubs I needed.. Im glad you posted they are 400ex ones instead.
I am parting out my 250x so I have all the suspension/ brake parts needed for the Diamond J kit for the front. Kust a few odds and ends hear and there. I will order teh 400ex rear hubs at the same time.
What should I do about the rear shock? ALso what about converting the rear over to disk brake setup.. What is involved in doing that?

AS for tires.. I have brand new holeshot tires on my 250x wheels ONly an hour on them... They are only an inch bigger then what they recommend.. May use them for now to save some money.
Where can I get teh best deals on ATv tire and wheels combo's?

I tried a set of both 300ex and 400 ex rear hubs.. both of them the spline size was way too large? ANy thoughts here.

I'm sorry about the mix up, I'm almost positive the guy I talked to had said he put 400ex hubs on the back of his son's 90, but then,I was wrong once before!!!!
