This is my 1st post so let me say hello to all I have been doing alot of reading of this forum because I am having a problem with my 04' Rubicon and am hoping that some of the people on the forum may be able to help me out.
I've looked at past post back for 6 months and have noticed some problems with the trans on the Rubicons, but not the problem I am having.

It started when I had bad fuel in my ATV, I tried to remove the fuel tank, in doing so I had to remove the skins on the side. So then I had to remove the shift lever. After putting everything back the Rubicon would not shift correctly.
When my Rubicon is in Drive position it will not shift, not in D1,D2 or ESP, when in the Low position it will shift in all drives. Now yesterday while riding for approx. 2 hours the trans. started working correctly in all drives, last night when I put the Rubicon away it was back to not working correctly.
