Ive been look at the board for a few months now, and this past week I finally got my self a 2001 rubicon.

It came with some engine troubles that I outlined in a pervious post thatm you guys already helped me figure out, so now its on its way to getting fixed. Ive got every thing ordered so now im just waiting on mr UPS to bring it all.

As a new Rubicon owner, are there any tips / tricks I should know about them ?
Any weak links I should fix before it breaks ?

In addition to the engine repairs im making, im also replacing front control arm bushings, front wheel bearings and dust caps, air filter, and ill be doing a complete fluids change, plus any "regular" maintenance that prob should have been done over the last 4k miles. Thanks alot for the help so far guys, I hope I can start to contribute to this forum also !

If you do much in the way of deep water or mud, it might be a good idea to unhook the battery, and disconnect every connector you can find and hit them with some diaelectric grease.
