Default 700 EFI Oil Filter

Hello, new to the world of quads and this forum, hoping for help.

Recently purchased 2 new Polaris quads, a 500 EFI and 700 X2 EFI. After initial break-in I purchased oil and oil filters and proceeded to change the oil & filters on both machines.

I found the oil filter on the 700 to be extremely hard to access to both remove and install, any hints?

I use a plier type oil filter wrench, just reach in grab center of filter and break loose.Tight spot on the 700-800 engines. On install just oil gasket, turn about 3/4 turn after filter base lightly snugs up. Other members will probably give you their methods, just pick the easiest for you!

I use the type that fits over the end of the filter and uses a 3/8 ratchet to loosen or tighten.......You'll need to find one with a very thin wall because it is tight and the metal ones are a little better I think....
