Default Cam Carrier Bolts

I was wondering if anyone knows what grade the cam carrier bolts are. I went to adjust my valves and when I went to torque them they started to strech at the point of breaking. If anyone knows I would appreciate it.

If they are stretching you are definatley overtightening big time. Torque spec is 89 IN/lbs. Not sure of the bolt grade sorry.

I was able to torque most of them to specs but some were just not cooperating.

i doubt its the bolt, and if your bolts are done u should just order new ones from a dealer. How are the threads in the head? Maybe they've been stripped out
