Which would make the most power and/or flow the most air... A 32mm carb that requires a very restricted air filter to be jetted right or a 28mm carb that can be jetted right with a velocity stack and no air filter?

Purely hypothetical, but I can't get my head around all the variables. I wanna say a 28mm with no filter flows more air and makes more power, but not sure.

What say you?

A 28mm without filter restriction will out gun the 32mm for its very short life span.

Short life span? Oh, you mean dirt? Wouldn't that just wear away the intake valve? Its hypothetical anyway, assume no dirt.

Why do you say the 28 will out gun the 32? Just guessing? Or...?
