15w 40 oil for Jet Moto quad? Going to change the oil

15w 40 oil for Jet Moto quad? Going to change the oil
in the 125cc Jet Moto and frame plate says use 15w 40 oil. Is this accurate or is there a more common choice for oil in these? According to the local auto store that weight is usually used for diesel motors. I also checked at the Honda atv store and they don't carry that weight oil.
