Have a 99 Bayou 400, started fine the other morning, shut it off now it won't restart. The neutral light is on but when you hit the engine start button it clicks once. Have tried hooking up to a battery charger to rule out the battery and sure enough still won't start. No pull start option. What else might it be?

 

first rule out that its not a bad battery and check your fuses. if the battery is good, bypass the start solenoid by hooking a battery or start pack up to the red wire leading to the starter and grounding the negative to the bike. if it turns then bad solenoid if it doesnt turn then bad starter.
