We bought a predator for our little boy. Problem is the people we got it off of took the switch out. We want to make sure it actually starts before we buy a switch for it. Does anyone know what wires you put together to make it start. It's not getting fire right now and we bought a new coil for it and used a emery board to clean off the contacts on the stator. Please help, our little boy is so excited but he just can't ride it yet.

 

Wires for thw switch should still be there. Left brake has to be pulled when starting. There is a fuse under the seat if blown no start. My grandsons 06 has a run switch on left handlebar too.

 

The wires are still there, but not sure what ones go with what. The fuse is fine, we checked it. We make sure the brake is locked.

 

The people on this forum are normally very helpful but if you are asking how to "hotwire" a quad you will probably not get much help. Most everyone on here has or knows someone who has had their ride stolen. I dont think that they will tell someone whose first post is about how to bypass the ignition switch how...If you are really interested in buying this quad, buy the switch try it and if it doesnt work sell the switch on ebay.

 

Well I'm definately not trying to find out how to hot wire it. We have the bill of sale for this and I have never stolen anything in my life. I was all day trying to find a site that would help us out with this. We don't have a lot of money to just try things. We already spent 40 on the coil and that didn't help the problem. The only reason this is my first post is I didn't know this site even existed. Guess you have to start out somewhere.
