Default question about 05 ds650 compared to an older one

Welcome back around. Check out the thread concerning the value of these things nowadays. They've come down quite a bit in the past couple of years. The link that OMR posted may be correct in all of it's listings but I believe the difference between the the 03 and older vs. the 04 and newer swingers is that the newer ones are 1.5 inches shorter as well as being lighter. You don't mention whether or not it's the Baja X or the Viper, either way the graphics kinda went down hill, they included them on the seats for both models limiting your options of customizing without having to replace the seat cover also.
But to sum it all up I would say same great ride at a much better price. You know you miss the old sand pig, give one a good appreciative home.
