does anyone know why my 2004 sportsman 700 dies when my headlights are on. It doesn't die as soon as you turn the lights on, it may go for and hour before it dies. The display goes blank and then dies. As soon as you roll to a stop it will start right back up and I have to drive home in the dark without my headlightas on??????????

 

something stator/regulator related would be my guess

 

I could see stator if it did it all the time. Maybe regulator though, I believe this does the lights..
