I have a 1986 Honda Fourtrax 250 2x4. I need a flywheel to have Electric start again my question is will a different later or earlier Honda 200 or 300 flywheel work. I have checked on Ebay they don't have any 250 just 200's and 300's.

not shure ... i was going to ask you if it was utility or sport ..but then i thought about the electric start ,and the 250x fortrax (sport model) was kick only...

 

The only other flywheel that will fit the 1985-87 TRX250 is 1985-88 ATC250 BigRed or SX .. And there are 2 different makes ( Mitsuba & ND ) and they are different sizes and are NOT innerchangable .. You will have to check the side of your flywheel and see what type you have .. And the only way you can use the other make is if you change both the flywheel and the stator ..
