87 warrior carb cleaning or rebuild???
#1
My warrior just bogs down and dies when i give it more gas then it idling. I cleaned the air filter and sprayed some carb cleaner into the carb from where the air filter is. It seemed to work for a little bit then went back to doing the same thing. Should I take the carb apart and clean it out? any suggestions could it be something else???

If it doesn't have the parking brake sensors, then yeah, take the carb apart and clean it. Most of the time you can just remove the carb off of the boot, leave the throttle cable hooked up, flip the carb over, remove the bowl screws, remove the main and pilot jets, clean them and clean the bowl out and re-install everything.
Sounds like if your problem is carb related, it would be in the main jet, not the pilot jet. Also the 4 phillips head bowl screws are the worst screws known to man, so make sure you have the proper sized phillips screwdriver and make sure there is no dirt in the screw head before you even attemp to turn them or they will strip out. They may still strip out, so you may want to have a back-up plan or go ahead and buy 4 new ones before you start. Or a pair of needle-nose vice grips will work wonders.

on your clutch perch theres a wire that comes out, that is your parking brake sensor they malfunction over time and they cause your bike to not wanna rev up, just trace the wire down through your plastics if its not hooked up to anything then your fine usually people unhook them then just hook them together in a loop, its one of the male and female plug-in connectors.
