07 grizz 450 engine help

Default 07 grizz 450 engine help

installed a cylinder sleeve and piston 40 over and can not get it to fire up all it will do is turn over not sure if it might be spark plug or somthing else need help

I would check your plug and your valve adjustments. When I did my 488 kit it fired right up. Also check to make sure that everything you unhooked when you tore it apart got hooked back up.

this might sound really dumb but how do you check your the valve allignment, i have the cam sprocket lined up with the mark on the inside of the housing but this is the first time i have really gone this detailed into it so i am kinda lost

Ok check your crank mark to make sure its lined up then make sure your cam is lined up with the mark like you have it. When you are at TDC your valves should have a little play in the rockers if not then you are 180 out and need to turn the crank 180 and line it up again, then adjust the valves to the specified adjustment.
