Well some of you know that I was going to sell my quad. I refuse to take that much of a beating on it. So here's the plan.
I'm looking at quite a few bobber rolling chassis, and I'm contemplating putting my 650 in it. The gearing calculator works out OK with a 19 tooth front and a Harley 46 tooth rear sprocket with a 26" tire. Roughly 100+mph in 5th gear. Nice and comparative speeds in all the gears actually. It has more torque and HP stock than a stock 883. Still need to get the gearing better tho and of course a vortex.
I'll have to make an exhaust, it will be kind of nice not having to deal with the same decibal limits on the road as on the trail.
I just need some experienced input. Seeing how the bike will be all highway, I'm going to put a smaller (narrower) radiator on it along with the fan till I see if it's still needed or not. Also it will have an extra 2 quarts of oil with a cooler.
I guess I'll be willing to trade or sell everything left on the quad for the parts I need. Clear titled frame "hint" This is just a project to keep me occupied this winter. There is a lot more info to post but this should get the ball rolling.

Thats a bridge I'll have to cross once its road worthy.
I'm not worried about top end, I'll be happy if it runs like a raped ape to 90.
