Default DS 650 Power

Does anyone have ides on what the best power up grades for the money on my ds650. I have K&N, 11.1 piston and 15t sprocket with a end cap but drag racing 450's and 700's are killing Me.

Loose as much weight off the quad as safely possible. 10 pounds = 1 HP.

For the money, a bigger carb can't be beat. TM45's pop up on ebay all the time and are fairly cheap. I think within the last few weeks there have been a few lectrons on ebay to. A CDI would probably go a long ways to helping also.

Yep, bigger carb, 520 Chain conversion, lightweight wheels and tires, CDI. Lose the air box, and jet accordingly...... We could go on

Pull the Rotax and replace it with a streetbike conversion

Runs a 730 kit from OMW with web109's and a 48mm lectron. It has some serious torque!

Ron Woods racing makes kits for the DS to make it insanly fast. But i have found just adding a big gun exhaust and jetting it nothing cames close. The only thing close was a yfz 450 that was stripped down and had an exhaust and couple other mods

It will run even better without the higher octane. A stock piston DS runs best on plain jane 87 octane....
