The 350 is a tough machine, however there is alot of mainanence like ftwflh said. they are chain drive (3 chains, one for the back wheels, one in the middle and another that goes to the front end) These chains require alot of adjustments, and there are alot of wear points with chains, sprockets, shafts.....The engine is simple and reliable, just counterbalance oil that needs to be changed ever now and again. They are oil injected engines. What to look for is worn bushings, shocks, motor mounts, drive line chains, sprockets. These things have lots of power in low range!! I had a 92 350 L 4x4.
