Default Need quick advice!!!

All,
Help me out!
I know I've seen a post on this once or twice but I can't find anything specific to my model and I haven't been following the forum for a while now.

Been searching the forums and not finding the specific infoamtion I need. I know the question of oil comes up often so please bare with me on this yet again...

A couple of questions...

I have a 06 500HO and I need to change the tranny oil. Other than the Polaris oil what are people using in the tranny? I looked at mobil but its 75w-90. I saw other posts that talked 5-40 and 10-30 but thats a far cry from 75w. I think the manual states pol agl and that's fine but I don't want to drive to dealer unless I have to. It's a far drive and I doubt Polaris is using a high quality oil.

What about the front end. Am I correct that there is oil for the front diff case and oil for the hubs??? I saw a lot of posts about 4x4 issues if the wrong oil is used (somewhere) but again is that the front differential case??? The manual doesn't say anything about changing the oil in the hubs.

I've used 0-40 mobil for the engine but would like to use a higher detergent oil like rotella 5w-40. Anyone using this. I understand Pol wants 0w-40 but I assume that would only apply to extreme cold climates.

Confused!!!

I dont about the rest but make sure for the front diff you use polaris premium LT demand drive fluid if your bike is equiped with adc. seems a lot of dealers dont even know this.

It's active control decent or something like that, on my 08 tou can swich it on and off but on some older models its on all the time. but I'm not sure what year they began, but I know that if you put wrong oil it will ruin your front diff, some of the more experienced polaris owners here will be able to tell you more, sorry

your bike doesn't have hubs with fluid in them, just the front diff.

Okay...no fluid in the outer hubs. Makes sense since I wouldn't see where this would go. Back to the tranny oil...do I use gear oil at 75w+ or motor oil?
