350 01' Rancher Carb ?
#1
I just put back together the top end with a new piston & rings. All went back well until I started it. It will start right up but only with the choke pulled. I can get it to idle for about 1 min then shuts down. In addition =, it wont take any throttle without bogging down. Does anyone know it this could be a valve adjustment problem or how I can tell for sure ? Also, I only notice one adjustment on the carb which I guess is the idle adjust.

If it will only start/run with the choke pulled it sounds like a jetting problem, i think you are supposed to jet richer after a pison/ring rebuild if i am not mistaken. Im not an expert or anything. I take it it ran before the rebuild?
