Fuel injection, aluminum frame, updated motor, updated suspension?????

The CRF450R dirt bike got all redone this year. I would suspect we would first see the CRF450X get a redesigned engine, and then that would trickle down to the quad.

 

That is exactly what my Honda buddies have been telling me since 2007, The CRF450 would get a complete make over for 2009 which included the aluminum frame and EFI. As long as there is no problems for them to workout the TRX450 will have aluminum frame and EFI in 2010. If they need to work some stuff out the quad will get it in 2011

 

Hell yea!!Good thing it's the december dirtwheels and not the april one where they fool everybody like that banshee thing they started back in 06'.That crf450r for 09' is a wicked fast bike 58 horse power stock.

 

Wow i hope Honda does do this soon, it would unquestionably put them back on top even with companys introducing quads into the 450 class, like kawi suzuki and ktm. I can remember when there was virtually 2 450's, the yfz450 and 450r.

 

I always thought my buddies at Honda were messing with me giving me the "inside scoop" back in 07. But this year when Honda released the CRF450 and everything was how they said it was going to be, I knew they weren't bull s&#ting me. So if not 2010, mark my words, Honda will have a new TRX in 2011. New Frame, EFI, and a more powerful motor. Now I wonder if they will offer a 50" wide MX ready!? I'm gonna have to do more prying.
