Default Renegade 500 Aftermarket Pipes

Does anybody know if there are any aftermarket pipes out there yet for the Renegade 500EFI's? I'm looking at the FMF control box but can't seem to find any pipes yet.

Also I'm new to BRP but I have had many Yamaha and Honda ATV's in the past 20 years. What should I expect out of my new bike? Should I be able to hang with Raptor 700's?

your renny 500 should top out between 69 and 72 mph. it is the same platform as the renegade 800. the 500 runs a shorter crank stroke and the same bore size as the 650.

hmf makes a good slip on for the outtys/renegade
for every ounce of performance you could go with a Ron Wood full exhaust. it is pretty pricey being in the 700+ dollar range.

Hello.
If you wanted to go fast and challenge the raptors and such, then you should have the renegade 800, it does a fine job in those areas.
Bout the only place to get aftermarket speed goodies would be Ron Woods.
Don't expect to find lots of stuff, just not available sadly so.
If you get lucky and find a place that will work on the heads, porting and custom grind cams, that would be where you would pickup most performance.
Don't embarress yourself and line the 500 up against anything, trade it in on the 800 rene and then get serious.
Good luck.

the bom sells a big bore kit to make the 800s to 840's idk what the displacement of the 500 would be with this kit. but it would work on the 500.

Yeah the 800 is just too much bike for me honestly. I've been out of the sport for probably 15 years now so I didn't want to go overboard with too much displacement and I didn't want a sport/race bike. So naturally the Renny 500 suited my needs pretty well. Sporty, yet 4 wheel drive for the other types of riding. All I really want to do is a slip on and a tuner box really. 75mph is MORE than enough for this old man.

Well I think thats funny bout you being to old, but we do what we feel comfortable at. The type of racing i do in 300 - 500 yds more bout how fast from 1 point to the other. If you noticed my sig you will see what i ride, we're trying to get 100 hp on mtr, oh i forgot to mention my age, 69 now thats funny.
Enjoy
