Need opinions. Buy a 2009 Honda Foreman 500 (all manual) buy it or not and why

 

How do you plan to use it?

 

it would be good if you are planning to do alot of work with it

 

Iplan to use it for hunting and maybe a little farm work.

 

IMO if your gona be using it for just a bit of work, i would save a few $'s and get the 420 rancher instead, its a bit smaller and a little more sportier. but ether way hondas are great for work, and will do nearly anything.

I really like my 500 Foreman as a trail machine. The 420 Rancher is a nice machine, but there is just something I like better about the Foreman.

I know its a 2005 review , but the 500 Foreman has not changed one bolt since it was introduced.

 

I'd have to say the 420 rancher is a better machine. Its cheaper price and FI. When I bought mine in 07, I tried the Foreman first than rode the rancher. The rancher was the better of the two. Its my work machine, and my wife rides it when we trail ride. I ride my new grizzly.
