Default IS RENEGADE A GOOD CHOICE

I HAVE ALWAYS OWNED UTILITY ATV'S BUT THE RENEGADE 800 HAS CAUGHT MY EYE AND DIDNT KNOW IF I WOULD BE DISAPOINTED NOT GETTING THE OUTLANDER I JUST REALLY LIKE THE STYLING ON THE RENEGADE AND ALSO IS THE PERFORMANCE OF THE RENEGADE MUCH BETTER THAN THE OUTLANDER

idk about compareing the 2 atvs, but the runegade is BADA$$! the speed and power are awsome. the runegade is lighter so probably sportier than the outlander. if you keep in mind its more of a sport atv than a utility you shouldnt be disapointed

good luck

Default IS RENEGADE A GOOD CHOICE

I have a couple of buddies that have them and the only negitive I have hear on the Renegade is the lack of not having any Racks and the single lever braking which has been changed for 09!

The first thing you will want to do no matter which one you buy is to put some Ricochet skid on it!

Good luck with you purchase!

i have an outy 800 and my bro has rene 800...a few things we noticed based on north east riding mud, trails,rivers...the outy gets more 4 wheel traction because of the extra weight in front and i get alot less front wheel lift while climbing steep hills and river beds...he is alot faster and has about 2 inch more clearance from water getting in his pipe due to extra height and the angle of pipe is up...so he can go deeper thru water without issue...other than those things there is not much difference here in the northeast....hope that helps....he kills me in power lines and open roads ..it is fast

Default IS RENEGADE A GOOD CHOICE

A riding buddy has both and he first had an 08 renegade 800 and then when he rode the 08 outlander 800 he liked it so much more.
He later purchased an 08 800 outlander and now does not ride the renegade at all.
The comments I got from him about the differences were that you get a lot dirtier riding the rene than the outy.
The outlander handled better on real aggressive hill climbs ( more control)
The renegade is only a little bit faster on the trail.
