05 honda 400 rancher

Default 05 honda 400 rancher

bought this 4wheeler knowing it wont go into gear useing the esp but while in auto it will go but wont shift. turn on the key and the esp light flashes 6 times please halp

Code #6 is an angle sensor code ..

I put the angle sensor in and preloaded it turn the key on and now it is flashing code 12. any clue what this means?

Honda recommends initializing the ECM & speedometer but you can just initialize the ECM ..

I have done this and when i open and close the throtle it keeps blinking --

Do you hear the shift motor cycle .. ? .. I would check the angle sensor to make sure when you preloaded it that it didn't slip ..

didnt here the shift motor cycle. but i will check the sencor agin
