What is the Differents between the regular Big Horn tires and the new Big Horn 2.0

 

The newer ones are weigh less....

 

Also, they are a bit narrower, and depending on what size you get, there is less tread height. There may be other differences that are not noticeable. However, these are probably the tires I'm going to get.

The weight difference is significant.

 

the new 2.0 is similar but not the same tread....you could see it well on maxxis site...if you compare....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

IF getting the 25" tire the tread depth difference is pretty signficant. 28/32" tread depth on the old Bighorns and 23/32" on the 2.0 version. The other tire sizes I think are still the same at 25/32" tread depth.

Yep, I plan on getting the 26". No difference in tread depth.

 

I hear this is the better "ROCK" type tire?

so the 1st ones had to be balanced

 

I got regular BIGHORN and the TERRACROSS. The regular bighorn is good for dry condition, lite mud and REALLY rock proof.....Running these tire is like having another suspension.

The new 2.0...I bet the are much better in wet condition and for soft soil and snow...witch the regular are bad...

Why do you think the 2.0 would be better snow than the regular Bighorns? They have essentially the same tread design. They both are 6 ply radials, unless you have some of the old 25" Bighorns that were bias ply.
