I have a 400ex and I live in Ohio, so I see a little of all the eliments. I was wondering what everyone else has. I'm looking for a tire that will handle mud, snow, dry hard pack, sand, grass ect... and still slide well. I know I am asking a lot but I want the most for my buck.

I have been looking at the Mudsharks, and Pitbull has me sold but i want to know how well they power slide? I also have been hearing the Bandits are a good all around tire, but how well do they last?

My brother has Holeshots and to me, they don't hook nearly as well as the stock EX tire. So for me the Holeshots are out of the question.

Trail Claw 2 .Now this is a great tire for all around riding.I would use 20/11/9 on the factory rims or use 22/11/9 on wider .190's.

I have bandits all around. Bandits are the same size as stock 400 exs tires so you wont loose power. they got close tread to be able to slide. deeper 3/4 inch tread for soft surfices like mud. I love them. I'v been to the dunes and work great. I'm sure a sand paddle or something like the realtor would be better for the sand and mud but if i were you id go with the bandits. when you need them to hook up they do, when you don't want them to they don't.

Have you thought about maxxis All tracs I had some on the back of mine and they hooked up great everywhere.Slid easy enough are as light as my holeshots and they wear pretty good. I wish I didn't sell the set I had.

Try the fast treckers, they are similar to the holeshots with the square profile that will let you lay it out in the corners, but they have a more aggressive tred pattern. I run 20X11X9 on the rear in the woods when I race hare scrambles. For the front tires, I would leave the stockers on. I have tried a couple different front tires and haven't seen any dramatic difference. Good Luck finding your tires.

I have Maxxis ALL TRACK, and I like them a lot. Good in mud, snow, hardpack, and swampy trails. They powerslide good, and have good tread wear. Not too heavy for 22" ,although, you may want to go with a 14 tooth c/s to compensate for 22" tires.

Super250, how quiet or should I say how loud is the supertrapp ids2? Do you know how it compares to other pipes like White Bros e-series? I want to get a pipe and maybe a 155mj or so. Just a bit more power and snap. Did you find a difference with the pipe? Thanks.

I have a set of VeeRubber on the back of my Scrambler a very good tire they are and exact duplicate of a bear claw at half the price and are 4ply too they only come in one size though
22-12-10 or 22-12-9

I do not know how they get away with the exact copy though must not be no patent law in the country where they are made but the quality for tire that is half the price is amazing if ya like bear claws.

Have a good one...

Fast trekers in the front, and turf tamers in the rear.
My quad came this way, and i thought about getting holeshots when these wear out but since everyone says that the holeshots wear out so fast and since i get great traction with these tires i think i'm going to keep these.
