Hey guys can anyone tell me if the 1st 2 gears on the 125 are really really worthless? I recently purchased one and 1st and second gear get you going about 10 mph tops. When you hit 3rd and fourth it feels really good and accelerated better. Someone has gone thru the transmission because you can put it in reverse at any time and the lever on the side of the case just rotates freely.

do these have a high gear set and a low gear set?

1st and 2nd gear on the fourtrax are ment to be super low, max pulling power and for the sticky stuff. sounds like somebody has disabled the reverse mechanism and the saftey cable.
